GREAT News, July 2017

With Scandinavia starting summer vacations this newsletter sums up the latest activities and the current build status in GREAT.

"We have had an intense first half of 2017 and are now really up to speed with installations as well as other activities. I am grateful to all partners putting in such hard work. We also arranged our Midterm Conference with a range of interesting speeches and discussions related to the developments in the project. A big thanks to all participants and speakers for making the conference GREAT" the Project Manager for GREAT, Britt Karlsson-Green says.

Have a GREAT summer! We will all return in a few weeks full of energy. The fall will be packed with GREAT activities that you can find in the schedule below. Looking forward to seeing you at our events this fall.

What's left to be built?

E.ON has been working hard during spring and GREAT now has 29 chargers in the ground. Some are still awaiting the connection from the grid operator but this is expected in the coming weeks.

Folkemødet 2017

GREAT arranged a debate at Folkemødet, the Danish political week at the island of Bornholm on the 15th of June 2017. The seminar titled “Sustainable heavy transports to secure greater growth!” gathered both industry and politics. Follow the link to read a short summary of the seminar.

Almedalen 2017

GREAT kicked off the Swedish political week at Öresundshuset with the seminar ”Sell more cars to reduce emissions” gathering representatives from E.ON, Nissan, Taxi Stockholm and the Swedish Riksdag. You can watch the seminar in its entirety at Öresundshuset’s YouTube channel (Swedish only).
